On 28 October 2022, Takenaka Corporation hosted the opening ceremony of COT-LabTM Singapore, our first co-creation laboratory outside of Japan. Singapore’s iconic National Gallery was the selected venue to celebrate this important milestone in Takenaka’s already long history in the city-state. After all, the National Gallery stands proudly as Singapore’s most magnificent landmark and perhaps one of the most complex projects that Takenaka has been trusted to deliver in the course of the more than four decades that link the company to Singapore.
The theme at this event was “Liveable Cities and Sustainable Built Environment – Beyond Smart Cities”, and around a hundred invited guests joined us that evening. We received a lot of positive and encouraging feedback after the event and look forward to the next COT-LabTM Singapore events coming up in 2023.
