Manage and control structural work on the construction site with safety and regulatory standards

Proficient in the use of computers: MS Office, MS Project (advantage)
Fluent in the English language

Manage and control MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) work n construction sites with safety and regulatory standards
Phase plans, MEP systems inter-relationships, construction sequencing and project schedule
Support problem-solving, as and when they arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction
Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP Subcontractors to ensure that they adhere to Project safety regulations
Assist in scope review, estimate quantities, costs and budgeting
Prepare work schedules and control the use of materials, equipment and machines
Prepare proposal documents and presentations
Maintain detailed documentation

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with Engineering license
Considerable experience in a similar position
Knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and Building Control Act
Proficient in the use of computers: MS Office, MS Project & AutoCAD (advantage)
Fluent in the English language

Work closely with architectural staff and site engineers to develop concepts and construction drawings
Depending on level of experience, may perform routine design calculations for the review of the Project Engineer
Some responsibility for checking design documents
Analyzes notes, sketches and other materials to prepare drawings along with basic layout
Perform 2D and 3D work in AutoCAD.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Engineering license (if any)
Auto CAD designer experience in the structural field (advantage)
Knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, Building Control Act and related subjects
Proficient in the use of computers: AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
Fluent in the English language

Work from architectural plans and base files to produce engineering construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD.
Understand and use established company standards for drafting including layer names, line and character styles, drawings and window names, and file names for sheet layout.
Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision.
Perform site research to understand existing site or building conditions.
Learn and apply principles behind designing electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
Learn to perform calculations such as photometrics, load calculations and energy analysis utilizing COM check and other calculation tools.
Inform Project Engineers and Team Leaders of progress on assigned projects and communicate design concerns with project managers

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with Engineering license (if any)
AutoCAD designer experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing field (advantage)
Knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, Building Control Act and related subjects
Proficient in the use of computers: AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
Fluent in the English language

With direction from the Project Architect or more senior design professionals, develop, modify, and/or review drawings ensuring the incorporation of design intent
Work closely with delivery team and assist to complete projects on aggressive schedules
Assist in developing project scope, plan and services and during the contract process, translate planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers and project team members
Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion
Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
Compile data and performs elementary design computations
Assist project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research

Bachelor’s degree in Architectural field
Knowledge of Architectural Design, technology, building, construction, Building Control Act and related subjects
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (required)
LEED AP is an advantage
Fluent in the English language
